February 17 at 2pm we will meet at Johnnie Lee’s home in order to take a small tour of Handmade at the Lake at 873 Tahoe Blvd (route #28). This is where Karen Colbert, a well-known quilter, oversees her small quaint shoppe which, as the name implies, sells handmade items.  If you are thinking of buying something for a special person, you need to appreciate the work that goes into handmade items and bring lots of money (or credit cards).  We may then adjourn to ALIBI ALE HOUSE for wine, women, and song (although someone besides me must sing 🙂 at 3 pm when it opens.
