Great Decisions is a national civic education program created and published by the Foreign Policy Association to discuss world affairs. The Great Decisions program involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book (with eight new subject areas each year), watching the documentary film series, and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today.
We meet on the THIRD Tuesday of each month (excluding summer months) to watch a brief video and delve into the subject at hand – always stimulating, challenging, and informative. It is also possible to join the monthly meeting via Zoom.
If you are interested in joining AAUW and Great Decisions, please email northtahoeaauw@gmail.com and write “Great Decisions” on the subject line.
