Do you love handwork or crafts?   Come join our congenial stitching  group.   We help each other learn new needlework skills while we visit and work on our latest projects.

Meetings are held at members’ homes on the third Wednesday of the month. A favorite part of the meetings is an informal “show & tell,” when anyone who wants to share their progress or get help can do so.

All levels of stitchers are welcome to join us. In addition to enjoying each other’s company, In Stitches members make  items for local organizations that serve children and families. We recently designed an AAUW North Tahoe label (above) to sew into donated items, such as the blanket we made for Project Linus.

Our group always welcomes new members of any skill level, including the merely curious. If you love the feeling of textured or soft, buttery yarn in your hands or are interested in the meditative and creative aspects of knitting, crocheting, and other fiber arts, please consider becoming a part of the AAUW North Tahoe In Stitches group!
